Our Water Pre-Treatment FRP Glass Filter Media (GFM) Systems Combos are complete, high-performance filtration solutions designed to remove suspended solids, sediment, turbidity, and fine particles while protecting downstream water treatment equipment. Each system combines a durable Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) pressure vessel, premium Glass Filter Media (GFM), and a high-quality manual or automatic control valve, providing an efficient, environmentally friendly alternative to conventional silica sand filtration.

Glass Filter Media is manufactured from specially processed recycled glass and offers superior filtration efficiency, improved water clarity, and lower maintenance requirements compared to traditional filter sand. Its smooth, non-porous surface reduces bacterial growth, minimises channeling, and requires less frequent backwashing, resulting in lower water consumption and reduced operating costs.

Please note: Glass Filter Media is primarily designed for particulate filtration and does not remove dissolved salts, hardness minerals, chlorine, nitrates, or dissolved metals. Additional treatment such as activated carbon filtration, water softening, iron removal media, or reverse osmosis may be required depending on your water quality.
