A Unidelta compression 90° Tee With Threaded Male Offtake is a polypropylene fitting used to create a branch connection with a male thread on a polyethylene (PE) pipeline. This allows for a screw-in connection to another component, such as a valve, tap, or another threaded fitting.

Design and features

  • Connections: The fitting has three ports. Two ports are compression connections for polyethylene (PE) pipe. As well as the third is a 90° male-threaded offtake.
  • Offtake type: The male offtake, or “male thread,” allows for a threaded connection to other components. This is different from a standard 90° tee, which has compression connections on all three ports.
  • Material: It is made from high-quality, corrosion-resistant, and UV-stabilized polypropylene (PP-B). This makes it durable for both above-ground and underground use.
  • Pressure rating: The fittings are designed to handle pressurized systems, typically rated up to 16 bar for standard applications like conveying drinking water.
  • Simple installation: The compression ends can be installed without special tools, making the process quick and simple for connecting PE pipe.
