Description

The 27mm riser pipe is designed for use inside compatible 8″–13″ FRP water-treatment vessels with a 2.5″ inlet. The riser pipe connects the internal top and bottom strainer/distributor assembly to a manual or automatic filter head, providing the central pathway for water flow through the vessel.

It is suitable for a variety of water-treatment applications, including water softening, quartz/sand filtration, activated carbon filtration and pre-filtration systems. When installed with the correct strainers and filter head, the internal distributor assembly helps distribute water evenly through the filter media while helping prevent filter material from escaping from the vessel.

How the Riser Pipe Works:

The riser provides the internal pathway for water between the control head and the bottom distributor.

During filtration, water passes through the filter media and is collected/distributed through the internal distributor system. During backwashing, the flow direction is reversed to clean the media.
