Description
The uPVC Bag Filter Housing is a robust filtration solution designed to remove suspended solids and particulate matter from water and other compatible liquids. The housing accommodates a replaceable filter bag that captures suspended particles as water passes through the filtration media. The double-length configuration provides a larger filtration area and greater dirt-holding capacity than shorter bag-filter housings, making it suitable for applications requiring higher flow rates or longer filtration intervals.
The housing is manufactured from uPVC, providing good corrosion resistance for a wide range of water-treatment applications. The housing is fitted with stainless-steel bolts for secure assembly and reliable operation. In addition the housing features 2″ DN50 flanged inlet and outlet connections, as well as a ¼” BSP air vent connection. A ¼” BSP pressure-gauge connection is also provided, although the pressure gauge is not included.
The bag filter housing is suitable for use as a pre-filtration stage before equipment such as water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, UV systems, pumps and other downstream water-treatment equipment.
