Description
Firstly Unidelta Elbow 45° 63mm is a polypropylene compression fitting designed to join polyethylene pipes at a 45-degree angle, changing the direction of flow. These fittings, made from durable, UV-resistant material, are used in various applications, including drinking water distribution, irrigation, and agricultural systems, connecting PE pipes for fluids at pressures up to 16 bar. For this reason their corrosion resistance, ease of installation without special tools, and ability to create leak-proof hydraulic seals.
Key characteristics:
- Angle: 45 degrees
- Material: Polypropylene (PP)
- Type: Compression fitting
- Purpose: Connects polyethylene (PE) pipes
- Applications: Drinking water, irrigation, agriculture, and civil construction
- Pressure Rating: Up to 16 bar
- Features: Corrosion and UV resistance, easy installation, leak-proof design, and wide compatibility with PE pipes
- Pressure and temperature rating: Rated for pressures up to 16 bar and usable in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 45°C.
- Dismantle the fitting: The user first disassembles the compression fitting, which consists of a nut, a split ring, a gripping bush, and a rubber O-ring.
- Slide components onto the pipe: Someone places the parts onto the pipe in the correct order.
- Twist to tighten: As the nut is twisted, the internal components are squeezed together, creating a tight, reliable seal on the pipe.
