Description
Firstly a plain tee 45° 40mm is designed to join three PVC pipes at a 45° angle. Enabling fluid flow to branch at a gentler angle than a traditional 90° tee.
Also this fitting is ideal for water distribution, irrigation, and various fluid handling systems. Where smooth directional changes help reduce flow resistance. When used with PVC solvent cement and cleaner, this tee fitting ensures a robust, leak-free connection between pipes.
Imperial PVC pressure pipes glue into all three socket ends on this fitting for a permanent fix. The pipes will only go as far as the stops on the inside of each branch. Spigot fittings of the same size can also be glued into the socket ends on this fitting.
This Plain tee 45° 40mm is not compatible with metric pipe sizes. The appropriate preparation steps, which include cleaning and chamfering the pipe, should be carried out as a part of the solvent welding process.
Key Features
