Description
The UV Quartz Tube 55 Watt is a replacement quartz sleeve designed for compatible 55W UV water-treatment systems. The quartz tube provides a transparent protective barrier between the UV lamp and the water, allowing UV-C radiation to pass through while preventing the lamp from coming into direct contact with the water.
The quartz sleeve is an important component of a UV sterilisation system. A clean, intact sleeve helps maintain effective transmission of UV-C radiation from the lamp into the water-treatment chamber.
Quartz sleeves normally require periodic cleaning rather than routine replacement. However, the sleeve should be replaced if it becomes cracked, damaged or otherwise unsuitable for continued use.
