Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Vessels are specifically designed to deliver high flow rates and can be combined with any number of specialized filtration media such as Activated Carbon, Calcite, AFM, Crystal Sand, Birm, Siliphos, as well as a number of different ion exchange Resins such as Softening (Cation) and Mixed.
Finally FRP allows the alignment of the glass fibres of thermoplastics to suit specific design programs. Significantly the orientation of reinforcing fibres can increase the strength and resistance to deformation of the polymer.
