Description
The UVC Pro UV Reactor 2 x 39W PRO-24 is a complete ultraviolet water-treatment unit designed to provide UV-C microbial treatment for compatible higher-flow water-treatment systems.
The PRO-24 features two 39W UVC Pro UV lamps installed in a stainless-steel UV reactor, providing a total UV lamp power of 78W. As water passes through the reactor, it is exposed to UV-C radiation, which helps inactivate microorganisms in the treated water.
UV treatment is a chemical-free water-disinfection process and does not add chemical disinfectants to the treated water. UV treatment does not remove suspended solids, dissolved minerals, salts, iron, hardness or other non-microbial contaminants. Appropriate pre-treatment should therefore be used where required.
The PRO-24 is supplied as a complete UV reactor unit and features a welded mounting stand for secure installation. It is suitable for compatible domestic, borehole and commercial water-treatment applications requiring higher UV treatment capacity.

Why choose the UVC Pro UV reactor 2 x 39W PRO-24?
- Complete UV reactor: Supplied as a complete PRO-24 UV treatment unit.
- Two 39W UV lamps: Uses two dedicated 39W lamps for a total lamp power of 78W.
- Higher UV capacity: Designed for applications requiring greater UV lamp power than the single-lamp UVC Pro models.
- Stainless-steel reactor: Provides a durable chamber for UV water treatment.
- Welded mounting stand: Provides a built-in mounting solution for secure installation.
- Chemical-free treatment: Uses UV-C radiation rather than adding chemical disinfectants to the water.
- Replacement components available: UV lamps, quartz tubes and compatible electrical components can be replaced separately.
- UVC Pro system: Uses dedicated UVC Pro replacement components for ongoing maintenance.
- Versatile applications: Suitable for compatible domestic, borehole and commercial water-treatment systems.
How the UV reactor works:
- Water enters the UV reactor.
- Water flows through the reactor chamber around the quartz tubes.
- The two 39W UV lamps produce UV-C radiation.
- UV-C exposure helps inactivate microorganisms as the water passes through the reactor.
- Treated water exits the reactor and continues to the point of use.
Installation & maintenance:
- Install the reactor in the correct direction of water flow.
- Secure the reactor using the welded mounting stand.
- Ensure the installation provides adequate support for the reactor.
- Confirm that all plumbing connections are compatible with the reactor before installation.
- Install suitable pre-filtration before the UV system where required.
- Ensure the incoming water is suitable for UV treatment.
- Do not exceed the specified operating conditions of the reactor.
- Isolate the water and electrical supply before servicing.
- Never operate the UV lamps outside the reactor.
- Never look directly at operating UV lamps.
- Avoid direct exposure of skin and eyes to UV-C radiation.
- Inspect and clean the quartz tubes periodically according to water quality and maintenance requirements.
- Replace the UV lamps when required.
- Inspect the quartz tubes during maintenance and replace them if cracked or damaged.
- Check all water connections for leaks after installation.
- Protect the electrical components from water ingress.
- Suitable surge protection is recommended to help protect the electrical components.
Warranty & electrical safety:
Due to the sensitive nature of electrical products, consumables such as bulbs and ballasts do not carry a warranty. It is recommended that suitable surge protection be installed to help protect the electrical components from voltage fluctuations and electrical surges.
