Description

The Water Company’s 2000 LPH industrial reverse osmosis (RO) System is designed for commercial and industrial applications requiring a dependable supply of purified water.

Equipped with four 4080 reverse osmosis membranes and a three-phase pump, this system has a nominal permeate production capacity of 2,000 litres per hour under suitable feed water and operating conditions.

Reverse osmosis technology reduces dissolved salts and other impurities by forcing pressurised feed water through specialised semipermeable membranes. The system separates the treated water into two streams: purified water (permeate) and concentrated reject water (concentrate).

The system incorporates a specialised microcomputer controller, pressure and tank level protection, pressure indicators, inline flow meters and a conductivity probe for monitoring permeate water conductivity.

Features:
  • Nominal permeate production capacity of 2,000 litres per hour.
  • Four 4080 reverse osmosis membranes.
  • Three-phase pump configuration.
  • Specialised microcomputer controller.
  • Product tank high-level float switch.
  • Raw water supply tank low-level float switch.
  • Low-pressure protection switch.
  • Timer unit contact.
  • Pressure indicators for monitoring operating pressure.
  • Inline rotameters for permeate and concentrate flow monitoring.
  • Permeate conductivity probe.
  • Manual system flushing through a ball valve on the concentrate line.
  • Compact design for commercial and industrial installations.
  • Customisable pretreatment based on feed water analysis.

  • Additional treatment: Depending on water quality and treatment requirements.
Applications:
  • Industrial water purification plants.
  • Commercial reverse osmosis installations.
  • Water refill stations and retail water shops.
  • Bottled purified water production.
  • Selected borehole water treatment projects.
  • Commercial and hospitality facilities.
  • Manufacturing and industrial process water.
  • Water treatment plants requiring high-volume purified water.
  • Custom water purification projects.
Important pretreatment requirements:

Correct pretreatment is essential for protecting the RO membranes and achieving reliable system performance.

The required pretreatment must be determined by a laboratory water analysis. Depending on the source water, the treatment arrangement may include:

  • Sediment or sand filtration.
  • Activated carbon filtration where required.
  • Water softening or another hardness-control solution where necessary.
  • Antiscalant dosing, correctly selected and dosed according to feed water chemistry and membrane requirements.
  • Iron and manganese removal where required.
  • Additional treatment for specific contaminants identified in the water analysis.

Not every installation requires the same pretreatment arrangement. The final configuration must be selected according to the actual feed water quality.

Before You Purchase:

Please provide a recent laboratory water analysis so that the suitability of the system and the required pretreatment can be assessed.

The stated production capacity is a nominal rating. Actual permeate output and recovery depend on feed water temperature, TDS, pressure, membrane selection, scaling potential and other operating conditions.

Please confirm the electrical supply, pump specifications, operating pressure, membrane specifications and installation requirements against the manufacturer’s technical data sheet before ordering.

Important: This product is the 1000 LPH RO system with four 4040 membranes. Pretreatment equipment, storage tanks, post-treatment, delivery and installation should be confirmed separately unless explicitly included in the quotation.
