The 80W UV-C Tank Steriliser is designed to provide ultraviolet disinfection of stored water inside compatible water storage tanks. The system uses UV-C light to inactivate microorganisms by damaging their DNA, helping reduce the microbiological contamination of stored water without adding chemicals to the water.

Unlike conventional in-line UV systems, this tank-mounted design is installed directly within the water storage tank, allowing the stored water to be exposed to UV-C radiation within the tank. UV treatment does not remove suspended solids, sediment, dissolved minerals, salts, heavy metals, chemicals or other non-microbiological contaminants. For effective UV treatment, water should be appropriately filtered before UV treatment, particularly where the stored water is intended for domestic or potable applications.
