Description

The pleated filter 10 inch standard 2.5″ is a high-performance, washable sediment filter designed to remove sand, silt, rust, dirt, and other suspended particles from water. Manufactured from durable pleated polyester media, it offers a significantly larger filtration surface area than conventional sediment cartridges, providing excellent dirt-holding capacity, high flow rates, and an extended service life.

Unlike disposable sediment filters, the pleated cartridge can be cleaned and reused multiple times, making it a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for residential and commercial water filtration systems. It is commonly installed as the first stage of a filtration system to protect carbon filters, reverse osmosis membranes, pumps, valves, and household appliances from sediment damage.

Installation:

Install the cartridge into a compatible 10″ standard slimline (2.5″) filter housing, ensuring all O-rings and seals are clean and properly seated before tightening the housing. Flush the filter thoroughly before use to remove any loose manufacturing residue. Clean the cartridge periodically by rinsing it under clean water or using a soft brush to remove accumulated sediment. Replace the cartridge if it becomes damaged or can no longer be effectively cleaned.
