Effective bactericide and fungicide for disinfection of potable water in reservoirs. Can be used as an oxidizing agent in any water system. Eliminates slime growth in water systems, kills harmful bacteria, waterborne diseases, and viruses. Being unstable in the pure form, hypochlorite is most commonly used for bleaching, disinfectation, and water treatment purposes in its salt form, sodium hypochlorite.
