Description

The ground level box – 15mm brass water meter – SABS 20mm valve is a complete, pre-plumbed water-metering assembly designed for convenient installation at ground level. The assembly combines a 15 mm brass volumetric piston water meter with a durable UV-stabilised polymer meter box and a SABS-approved 20 mm plastic ball valve. The pre-plumbed design provides a neat and secure installation solution for domestic and small business water-metering applications.

The 15 mm brass water meter features a sealed wet dial, internal non-return valve and pulse output, and is approved by the NRCS to Class C specifications in accordance with SANS 1529-1:2019. The meter has a working pressure of up to 1600 kPa. The meter box features a UV-stabilised lockable lid, base plate, reinforced 20 mm BSP male inlet and outlet fittings and a tamper-resistant locking mechanism. The complete meter assembly is factory pressure tested before dispatch and supplied leak-free at the time of supply.

The ground-level box provides protection for the meter while allowing convenient access for meter reading, maintenance and authorised inspection.

Please note: This is the standard 15 mm brass meter-box configuration. The additional serviceable fine-mesh strainer is available as a separate 15 mm variant and is not included in this product.
