How it works:
The valve is normally closed, meaning that it automatically remains shut when there is no electrical power supplied to the solenoid coil.
When the valve is off:
The internal valve remains closed and stops the flow of fluid.
When the valve is energised:
The electromagnetic solenoid activates the internal mechanism, opening the valve and allowing fluid to flow.
Because this is a direct-acting valve, it can operate from zero differential pressure, making it useful in applications where there may not always be pressure available to assist valve operation.
