The 1,000 L/h Manual Ultrafiltration System is a membrane-based water filtration system designed for commercial, institutional and light industrial applications. Using hollow-fibre ultrafiltration membrane technology, the system provides fine physical filtration at a nominal filtration range of approximately 0.01 micron. The system is manually operated, including filtration and membrane backwashing, with a nominal production capacity of up to 1,000 L/h.

Description

The 1,000 L/h Manual Ultrafiltration System is a compact membrane filtration system designed for applications requiring fine removal of suspended solids, colloidal particles and other larger contaminants from water.

The system uses hollow-fibre ultrafiltration (UF) membrane technology. During operation, feed water is passed through the UF membrane under pressure. The membrane retains many suspended and colloidal contaminants while allowing water and smaller dissolved components to pass through.

With a nominal production capacity of up to 1,000 litres per hour, this UF system provides a higher treatment capacity than the 500 L/h manual model while retaining a straightforward manual operating configuration.

The system includes the valves and flow meters required for filtration, rinsing and manual membrane backwashing. The operator manually changes the valve configuration when backwashing or rinsing is required

Important: Pre-treatment required

We recommend suitable pre-treatment before the ultrafiltration system, as it is vital for maintaining optimal membrane performance and service life. Operators should analyse raw water and appropriately treat it before it enters the UF membranes. Depending on the source-water quality, pre-treatment may include sediment filtration, multimedia or glass filtration, activated carbon, iron and manganese removal, softening, or other treatment stages. Proper pre-treatment helps reduce membrane fouling, scaling, and contamination and can significantly improve membrane performance and service life.
