2.5″ Mount head; ABS mount head for FRP vessels is a crucial component in water treatment systems. Providing the connection point for control valves or simple inlet/outlet ports and is designed for specific applications.

Product types

• In & Out Head: This simple head unit features only inlet and outlet ports. Ideal for media like Siliphos that do not require back washing. It is compatible with a 27mm riser pipe and bottom strainer, but lacks a drain port.

Material and compatibility of the 2.5″ Mount head

• Material: The mount heads are typically made from ABS plastic. Sometimes with the port threads made from 30% glass-filled PP for enhanced strength and durability. All water-contacting components are made from food-grade materials.
• Compatibility: These 2.5″ mount heads are compatible with a wide range of popular control valve brands, including Fleck, Autotrol, Canature, Runxin, Kinetico, and Clack.
• Riser Pipe: A specific 27mm (3/4″ – 3″ range) riser pipe is required to ensure proper water distribution and collection within the vessel. The top of the riser pipe should be flush with the top of the vessel to ensure a proper seal with the valve head.
