Description
The ground level box – 20mm plastic water meter – strainer – SABS 20mm valve is a complete, pre-plumbed surface meter-box assembly designed for domestic and small-business water-meter installations.
The assembly combines a 20mm polymer volumetric piston water meter, a UV-stabilised polymer ground-level meter box, an additional serviceable fine-mesh strainer and a 2-way SABS-approved 20mm polymer ball valve.
The 20mm polymer water meter is 165mm long and features a sealed wet dial, non-return valve and pulse output. The meter is approved by the NRCS to Class C specifications in accordance with SANS 1529-1:2019.
The meter box provides a secure and practical installation with a UV-stabilised lockable lid, clip-on polymer base plate, tamper-resistant locking mechanism and 20mm glass-reinforced polymer male inlet and outlet fittings. The internal plumbing assembly is pressure tested before dispatch to help ensure the supplied unit is leak-free.
