Compatibility information:
Before ordering, confirm that you have the UVC Pro PRO-02 system and that it uses a 14W lamp.
Lamp wattage alone should not be used to determine compatibility, confirm:
- UV reactor model.
- Lamp configuration.
- Ballast compatibility.
- Lamp dimensions and connection configuration.
- Quartz sleeve dimensions.
- Electrical requirements.
For the PRO-02, the matching product range includes the UVC Pro electronic ballast for PRO-02 – 14W and UVC Pro quartz tube 14 watt PRO-02. The Water Company catalogue lists these components alongside the 14W replacement lamp.
Installation & handling:
- Switch off and isolate the UV system from the electrical supply before replacing the lamp.
- Allow the lamp and reactor to cool before handling.
- Do not touch the glass portion of the lamp with bare hands. Skin oils can contaminate the lamp surface.
- Handle the UV lamp carefully to avoid damage.
- Inspect the quartz sleeve before installation and replace it if cracked, damaged or heavily contaminated.
- Ensure the lamp is correctly positioned inside the quartz sleeve.
- Check that all seals and connections are correctly installed before returning the system to service.
- Never operate an exposed UV lamp where people can be exposed directly to UV-C radiation.
Warranty & electrical safety:
Due to the sensitive nature of electrical products, UV bulbs and ballasts do not carry a warranty.
It is recommended that suitable surge protection is installed to help protect UV electrical components from electrical surges and premature failure.
