Description
The UVC Pro electronic ballast PRO-06 to PRO-24 is an electronic electrical control component designed for compatible UVC Pro ultraviolet water-treatment reactors in the PRO-06, PRO-08, PRO-12 and PRO-24 range.
The ballast provides the electrical control required to start and operate the compatible UVC Pro UV lamp. It is supplied as a replacement component for UVC Pro UV systems where the original ballast has failed, become damaged or requires replacement.
The UVC Pro range uses different lamp wattages across the compatible reactor models. The PRO-06 uses a 24W lamp, the PRO-08 uses a 32W lamp, while the PRO-12 and PRO-24 use 39W lamps. Customers should therefore confirm their exact UVC Pro reactor model and lamp wattage before ordering.
Client can use this ballast for the compatible UVC Pro configuration where you supply the ballast separately from the UV reactor and lamp.
Important: This product is the electronic ballast only. The UV reactor, UV lamp and quartz sleeve are not included unless specifically stated.

Before replacing the ballast, confirm:
- UVC Pro reactor model.
- UV lamp wattage.
- Lamp type and electrical configuration.
- Ballast connections and wiring.
- Input voltage and frequency.
- Physical installation requirements.
Compatibility between the ballast and existing UV system:
The compatible UVC Pro configurations are:
- PRO-06: 24W UV lamp
- PRO-08: 32W UV lamp
- PRO-12: 39W UV lamp
- PRO-24: 39W UV lamp
Using an incorrectly matched ballast or UV lamp may result in improper operation and could damage the UV equipment.
A qualified person should carry out the electrical installation.
Warranty and electrical safety:
Electrical components such as UV ballasts should be protected from electrical surges and installed according to the applicable electrical requirements.
The Water Company currently advises that UV bulbs and electrical components such as UV ballasts do not carry a warranty.
We recommend using a suitable surge-protection device to help reduce the risk of premature electrical-component failure caused by electrical surges.
Always isolate the electrical supply before replacing or servicing the ballast.
